Meet Amy

Amy Smith is the founder and leader of Girl Talk Ministries. A middle school girls ministry founded in 2013. As of today, Girl Talk has reached over 600 middle school girls and their moms all over Alabama. Amy also works at First Baptist as the Girls Minister to 4th-12th grade girls. In 2015, Amy also started 68 Huddle, a middle school boys ministry, bringing men around the area in to teach the boys monthly. Girl Talk Ministries and 68 Huddle are partnered with Forgotten Children Ministries in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and missionaries Ryan and Philann Stewart and Pat and Michele Corley. With all of this, Amy is thankful that God gives her the opportunity to be a small part of all He is doing in the lives of middle schoolers and beyond. A wretched sinner who was lucky enough to encounter a radical, passionate Love called Jesus Christ. A Love that had mercy on me and redeemed. A Love that never leaves, instead accepts as His own. A huge screwed up imperfect sinner trying to live a life for Christ which will never be worthy enough for Him. Everything He is offering you. “Now all glory to God, who is able, through His Mighty Power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” Ephesians 3:20

  1. I love your story. It was truly moving. My daughter is coming tonight by my good friend Heather Russell.

My daughter lost her father to brain cancer almost 7 years ago today. I’m trying to sign her up for this, but I’m not on Facebook.

    Please advise. Thanks.
